Job Title: Head of Procurement

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

We’re hiring on behalf of an outstanding client to recruit a Head of Procurement for their team based in Birmingham. This is a strategic, leadership-level role ideal for someone with strong experience in procurement within the FMCG sector.
What you’ll do as Head of Procurement:
* Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies
* Lead supplier negotiations and manage vendor relationships
* Monitor market trends and mitigate supply chain risks
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal standards
* Champion sustainability, innovation, and ethical sourcing
* Manage and develop a high-performing procurement team
What we’re looking for:
* 8–10 years’ experience in procurement
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field
* CPSM / CPP qualification or equivalent
* Strong leadership and negotiation skills
* Proven ability to manage procurement budgets and contracts
* Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills
