Pro Staff Construction Ltd are currently working with a Principal Contractor that delivers a variety of new build and refurbishment projects for Local Authorities across South East Wales.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Carpenter / Site Supervisor to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a hands‑on supervisory role where you will be expected to carry out 1st & 2nd fix carpentry works while also overseeing the day‑to‑day running of projects on site.
The Role:
* Carrying out 1st & 2nd fix carpentry works
* Supervising operatives and subcontractors on site
* Ensuring staff arrive on time and daily attendance sheets are completed
* Monitoring Health & Safety standards on site
* Assisting with the smooth delivery of projects from start to finish
* Reporting directly into the Contracts Manager
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Carpenter within construction
* Previous supervisory / team leading experience
* Strong understanding of site Health & Safety
* Ability to manage workloads and communicate effectively on site
* CSCS Card
* SSSTS / SMSTS desirable
* Full UK Driving Licence
Package Information:
* £19.00 per hour PAYE
* Rate includes holiday pay & pension
* 39 hours per week
* Company vehicle & fuel card provided after successful probation
