About the Opportunity
Assurance, Technology & Regulation (AT&R) team has a primary focus on three key areas; Independent Oversight & Assurance, Technology Development, and Regulatory Support. We have been directly involved in the Royal Navy’s Nuclear Submarine Program for six decades and support the UK Civil Nuclear & Decommissioning industry.
This role is in the Programme Management Office (PMO) Team within Assurance, Technology and Regulation (AT&R).The jobholder is responsible for the provision of Project Support services provided by the MoD Project Registry (MPR) team who provide an administrative service in all aspects of document control to the AT&R team. The role provides support to information management systems, enabling project staff to gain quick and easy access to project records (files, reports).
What you will be doing
* Supervise and oversee the activities of a team of MoD Project Registry (MPR) staff who record and manage information across the document production life cycle to deliver a fit for purpose, security compliant asset.
* Accountable for the results of document audits carried out by external agencies.
* Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion.
* Provides training to team members and feedback on performance.
* Provide guidance and support to technical staff on MPR processes and document control systems.
* Oversee the provision of working instructions detailing activities carried out.Author of applicable Quality procedures.
* Responsible for the delivery of the Security Records Officer (SRO) function and control of classified documents, ensuring that accountable assets are managed in accordance with the government Security Policy requirements and applicable Security Aspects Letters (SAL).
* Provide Cryptographic Custodian services for nominated contracts.A personal appointment covering responsibility for through life accounting of cryptographic material.
* Oversee the local visitor process, arranging meeting room bookings and checking visitor clearance details.
* Work with other members of the PMO team to support the business, delivering excellence to external and internal customers, ensuring office operational around core office hours.
Here’s what you’ll need:
* Strong organisational and logistical skills and experience.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to provide an agile and flexible service.
* Ability to multi-task and work under own initiative.
* Able to work under short term pressure to resolve emerging issues in a timely and responsive manner.
* Be competent in using Microsoft office applications.
Our client requires you to be able to obtain UK Security Clearance to SC level.
