About the Role We are seeking a Sales Engineer who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent sales and communication skills to drive business growth, provide technical support, and build lasting customer relationships. You’ll play a key role in shaping our market presence and supporting customers with innovative solutions. Initial training will be provided based on experience. Expect up to 80% travel for customer site visits, with the remainder office/home-based. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities within the rigid foam and composites market. Achieve KPIs and sales targets through strategic planning and execution. Deliver compelling technical presentations to prospective clients. Technical Expertise Advise customers on foam applications, formulations, and processing techniques. Collaborate with internal teams to address technical challenges and customer requirements. Stay ahead of industry trends, standards, and innovations. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and suppliers. Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct site visits and offer hands-on technical assistance. Market Analysis Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics. Prepare reports on sales performance, forecasts, and emerging trends. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field (preferred but not essential). Experience: 2–5 years in technical sales, ideally within the foam or polymer industry. Skills: Strong understanding of rigid foam chemistry and applications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to interpret technical data and provide solutions. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Preferred Attributes Knowledge of applications in construction, marine, aerospace, buoyancy, insulation. Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations for foam and composite materials.
