Working closely with production and engineering teams, this role plays a key part in ensuring components meet strict quality and specification standards. It would suit someone who enjoys practical, methodical work and takes pride in accuracy and consistency. 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 5.30am – 3.30pm As a Quality Control Technician, you will benefit from: 6% company pension contribution 190 hours holiday per year, plus all bank holidays Free on‑site parking Access to the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Full training and development within a supportive Quality team As a Quality Control Technician, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out dimensional and geometric inspections on components to ensure they meet tight tolerance requirements Completing batch‑based inspection work, requiring strong attention to detail and consistency Learning to read and understand technical drawings and quality requirements, with full training provided Using basic maths and accuracy skills to support measurement and inspection activities Supporting the monitoring of production and prototype items using manual and computer‑aided inspection tools Identifying quality issues, collecting and evaluating data, and contributing to corrective and preventive actions Building positive working relationships within the Quality team and across other departments Supporting the wider needs of the business as required As a Quality Control Technician, your experience will include: Experience in a quality, engineering, or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential A willingness to learn new skills, methods, and procedures Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage repetitive tasks accurately Confidence working independently with minimal supervision Good communication skills at all levels Basic IT literacy Basic maths skills, particularly with decimals A naturally high level of attention to detail The Quality team is small, welcoming, and extremely busy – they’re looking forward to welcoming someone who enjoys the work, fits well into the team, and is keen to build a long‑term future with the business.
