Job Description:
Veramed is seeking a Head of Projects and Analytical Solutions to lead and manage approximately 100 professionals, including statisticians, programmers, data managers, and technologists across Europe, India, and North America.
This strategic leadership role emphasizes delivering high-quality biometrics and data management services, ensuring operational excellence, and achieving financial targets. You will drive growth, maintain strong client relationships, and oversee project delivery aligned with organizational goals.
Strong leadership and people management skills are essential. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biostatistics, Data Science, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields, with over 12 years of progressive leadership experience in biostatistics, clinical research, or related consulting organizations.
Key responsibilities:
P&L Ownership:
* Manage profit and loss statements, focusing on revenue and profitability.
* Develop strategies to meet financial goals.
Strategic Leadership:
* Drive business development and account management efforts to secure projects.
* Stay informed on market trends to identify client needs and develop new service offerings.
* Lead and inspire cross-functional teams across regions.
* Define operational strategies for scalable project delivery.
Client and Account Management:
* Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
* Build strong relationships with key clients and serve as an executive sponsor when needed.
Project Management & Resourcing:
* Oversee project staffing and resourcing strategies.
* Manage projects within budgets and timelines, including forecasting profitability.
* Implement project management best practices.
* Coordinate with Service Line Leads to refine services and develop innovative solutions.
Talent Development:
* Cultivate a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Manage recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
Education:
* Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields.
Experience:
* Over 12 years of leadership in biostatistics, clinical research, or related consulting fields.
* Proven P&L management experience.
* Experience managing global, cross-functional teams.
Skills:
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies and resource strategies.
