Overview
Are you a skilled AC-bias Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer in or around the Peterborough area, looking for an exciting opportunity in the facilities management sector? We are seeking a dedicated professional to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a defined portfolio, ensuring top-quality service delivery and first-line response to emergencies.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems across a defined portfolio.
* Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
* Provide technical support and expertise across multiple sites.
* Liaise with customers to deliver outstanding service.
* Support and mentor apprentices and junior engineers.
* Collaborate with the team to maintain service quality and response times.
* Travel between client sites as required
* On-call duty required (1 in 4 weeks)
Qualifications
* Essential: F-Gas
* Desirable: 18th Edition, Test & Inspection, Unvented
* Valid UK driving licence (essential)
* Previous experience in a similar role (retail or commercial experience preferred)
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* IT proficiency and ability to manage workload effectively

* Salary: £35,834 or £41,210 (depending on experience)
* Full door-to-door pay
* Up to 4% bonus
