UK-based medical device company supplying products to NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers nationwide. Operating within a regulated environment, they are committed to ensuring a secure, compliant, and uninterrupted supply of critical medical devices that support patient care across the UK.
They are seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to take operational responsibility for warehouse management and logistics coordination, ensuring efficient stock control, compliant processes, and reliable delivery to healthcare customers.
The Role
This is a broad, operational role responsible for the complete warehouse lifecycle — from procurement through to final delivery to NHS and private hospital customers.
You will assist in daily warehouse operations, maintain accurate stock control, ensure regulatory compliance, and support logistics process where required.
You will work closely with sales and finance teams to ensure seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Full Warehouse Operations
Assist in the ownership of daily warehouse activities
Manage goods-in processes, including receipt, inspection, and verification
Ensure correct batch/lot control and product traceability
Organise safe and compliant storage of medical devices
Assist in picking, packing, and dispatch processes
Prepare accurate shipping documentation
Conduct cycle counts and periodic stock takes
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant warehouse environment
Ensure health & safety standards are upheld
Logistics Coordination
Coordinate outbound shipments to NHS Trusts and private hospitals
Liaise with couriers and freight providers
Monitor delivery schedules and resolve shipment issues
Support inbound deliveries from UK or overseas suppliers
Maintain appropriate shipping and import documentation where applicable
Inventory & Systems Management
Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP or stock management systems
Monitor stock levels and support replenishment planning
Manage stock rotation and shelf-life control where required
Ensure full traceability in line with regulatory requirements
Regulatory & Quality Compliance
Ensure warehouse activities comply with, Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
Maintain warehouse documentation and SOPs
Support audits and inspections
Assist with product recall processes if required
Essential Requirements
3+ years' experience in warehouse and logistics operations
Strong hands-on warehouse operations experience
Experience with EPR stock control and inventory systems
High attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Desirable
Experience supplying NHS or healthcare customers (medical or regulated industry desirable).
Exposure to import/export documentation
