The Role
As Accounts Senior, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and business advisory services. You will work closely with Managers and Partners while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
* Preparation of management accounts and financial reports
* Corporation tax computations and returns
* Supporting with personal tax where required
* Reviewing work prepared by junior staff
* Liaising directly with clients, responding to queries and providing practical advice
* Assisting with client onboarding and process improvements
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
* Be ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (QBE also considered)
* Have recent experience working within UK accountancy practice
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of FRS102 and UK GAAP
* Be confident managing their own workload and client relationships
* Have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
* Experience with cloud software such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar would be advantageous
