Air Personnel are looking for a B1.3 Licensed Engineer (Equal Time) to join their client in Kidlington Description/Overall purpose of the Job for the B1.3 Licensed Engineer As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you'll be responsible for the certification of maintenance and repairs on a variety of Airbus rotorcraft, including the popular H125, H135, H145 and the new H160. You will be placed on an equal time (7 day on 7 day off) roster supporting both line and base activities. Main responsibilities * Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Maintenance Supervisors. This is a certifying role that requires a Part 66 License in B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft). The ability to work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft. * Working knowledge of UK CAA regulations most importantly Part 145, Part M and UK ANO requirements is essential. * Completion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant and mechanical and electrical systems. Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability. * Supervision of maintenance fitters and the certification of their work. * Ability to engage with the customer and positively represent the company Knowledge and Skills required for the B1.3 Licensed Engineer Essential * Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems and specialised test equipment. * Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative * Flexible to the requirements of the company and needs of the customer Education, Qualifications or Training Essential * Part 66 B1.3 Licence (UKCAA) * Currency on type Desirable * EC135 / BK117 C-2 / BK117 D-2 / BK117 D-3 Type rated * Type training on specific types will be given to a suitable candidate.
