Financial Controller
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
Location: West London (hybrid)

Hands-on finance lead for a scaling consumer goods business.
Own the close and controls, lead AP/AR, partner on COGS & margin, and upgrade reporting around price/volume/mix and inventory. You'll be the audit lead, tighten working capital, and mentor a small team while modernising processes and MI.

Run GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets; lead month-/year-end close
Produce management accounts, leadership reporting & KPIs (margin, PVM, OPEX)
Own budgeting & rolling forecasts; support scenario planning
Audit lead: coordinate external auditors; ensure statutory compliance and tax filings
Strengthen cashflow & working capital; drive credit control and supplier payment discipline
Champion inventory & COGS integrity: GRNI, stock reconciliations, landed cost, standard cost/variance (e.g., PPV/usage/overheads)
Improve processes, controls and reporting (ERP + advanced Excel/Power Query/BI)
Manage and develop a small finance team; set a clear month/quarter rhythm About you
Finalist / Newley / Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or international equivalent)
Background in consumer goods / manufacturing / distribution
Strong technical accounting, controls and audit-facing experience
Confident with AP/AR leadership, working capital levers and credit control
Comfortable with price/volume/mix, margin and COGS analysis
ERP-savvy; advanced Excel; clear communicator to non-finance stakeholders What's on offer
