This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical and electrical assembly experience who enjoys working on technically advanced systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Building complex electro-mechanical systems from engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
* Mechanical assembly, wiring, and integration of components such as:
* PCBs
* Power supplies
* Cooling systems
* Server-based hardware
* Carrying out fault finding, repair, and rework on assemblies
* Interpreting electrical schematics and resolving issues
* Ensuring high-quality builds through self-checking and peer checks
* Supporting production targets and throughput
* Assisting with prototype builds and project work alongside engineering teams
* Contributing to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient work environment
What We’re Looking For
* Experience assembling complex electro-mechanical products
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Confident working independently and as part of a team
* Good mechanical skills and general workshop experience
* A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
* Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement (desirable)
* Good attention to detail and ability to work to high-quality standards
Working Hours
* Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
* Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
* Potential to move into a shift-based role in future (with additional pay)
