Are you an experienced and inspiring leader in children's social care? We are looking for a Team Manager to join our dedicated Safeguarding team. This is a chance to play a key role in a fast-paced, high-impact service where your work directly shapes the lives of children and families.
The Role
Our Safeguarding Team works with children and families from the Child in Need stage through to court proceedings. As Team Manager, you'll be at the forefront of this work, leading a team of Assistant Team Managers, Senior Practitioners, and Social Workers.
You will be responsible for:
* Driving high-quality interventions and impactful decision-making for children and families.
* Championing our Signs of Safety model and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
* Overseeing complex and high-risk cases, ensuring robust planning and review processes.
* Representing our organization in key strategic and multi-agency forums, influencing and shaping service delivery.
* Providing strong case oversight and support, including permanency planning.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you should have:
* A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Leadership & Management).
* Active registration with Social Work England and a strong record of continuous professional development.
* Significant experience in safeguarding, including managing complex cases and presenting evidence in court.
* Proven ability to lead and support social work staff working with children, young people, and families.
* Confidence in using a range of digital tools and systems to manage and enhance your work.
