Recycle Southern are looking for an Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our team.
This is a full time position initially located in Chichester, but moving to Bognor at a later date (est. mid 2026).
The successful candidate must be fully confident and able to work independently, and accurately, in all aspects of bookkeeping - payroll, sales and purchase ledger, (including credit control) reconciliations, journal entries, and VAT returns, using SAGE 50, and SAGE Payroll.
Responsibilities
* Use of Sage Accounts, Sage Payroll, Office & our own booking system
* Generating reports when required.
* Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
* Manage accounts receivable, ensuring customer and cash ledgers are kept up to date
* Reconcile all accounts and resolve discrepancies.
* Liaise with accountants to support the preparation of financial statements and assist in audits as needed.
* Stay updated on accounting best practices and software enhancements.
* Communicate effectively with team members and directors to address any accounts queries
You will need to be highly organised, able to work under pressure, and possess excellent communication skills.
Full time - Hours & Salary Negotiable
