Your Role
Join the heartbeat of our operations! As a Warehouse Operative at Kuehne+Nagel, you’ll play a vital role in keeping things moving—efficiently, effectively, and with precision. Your work powers our daily success, ensuring every objective is met and every shipment counts. Be part of a team that delivers excellence every day.
Your Responsibilities
* Playing a key part within our Government and Defence contract, you will be responsible for carrying out tasks including: picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, processing returns, and stock maintenance and integrity tasks.
* This role is based at our Bicester site, offering the opportunity to work within multiple teams and buildings, gaining extensive knowledge of our operations and business.
* Complete daily Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety checks (where applicable).
* Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and carry out other computer-based tasks as required.
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects and ideas.
* Operate according to trained work instructions, e.g., ABC Modules/WI.
* Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy.
* Comply with all Safe Working Practices, including reporting accidents and incidents.
* Achieve individual and team productivity and accuracy standards.
* Contribute to KN 5s standards within the working area.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
* Possession of an MHE licence (where applicable) or willingness to train.
* Understanding of warehouse practices (picking, loading) is beneficial but not essential.
* Basic IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel); training provided.
* Good communication skills.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
