Service Care Solutions is working with a respected local authority, based in Derbyshire, which is seeking an experienced Criminal and Regulatory Solicitor to join their legal. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional with strong advocacy and prosecutions experience to take on a varied caseload within a supportive local government environment.

Location: Derby – court attendance required
The Role
You will manage a mixed caseload of criminal and regulatory matters on behalf of the authority, including conducting advocacy and providing legal advice across a range of enforcement issues.
Key responsibilities
* Handling criminal prosecutions and regulatory matters
* Attending court approximately 2–3 times per week
* Managing cases from instruction through to conclusion
* Drafting legal documentation and preparing cases for hearings
* Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
* Flexible hours – open to full or part time.
