We are looking for a motivated CNC Operator to join our client's Machine Shop team in Stroud. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC machining experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate one or more CNC machines within the production cell.
- Complete daily machine checks and maintain accurate production documentation.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Inspect and stamp completed work to quality standards.
- Report non-conformances and support continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area.
- Work closely with Team Leaders and colleagues to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
What We're Looking For
- Previous CNC operating experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic CNC programming knowledge is desirable.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience preferred.
