Job Description
Provide support to teachers by undertaking a range of non-teaching duties, including classroom administration and practical tasks such as contributing to the preparation of teaching materials to assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives.
Requirements
The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are constantly updated, and any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a permanent, part-time, term-time role based at Patna Supported Learning Centre. The hours are 27.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 3 pm, as directed by the line manager. The full-time salary range is £24,333 - £24,807 per annum, with the part-time, term-time salary between £20,871 - £21,744.73 per annum.
