An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Oldham from September. This is a full-time temporary position for the Autumn Term, with the potential for extension.

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their literacy, analytical, and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons
Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
Creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum delivery
Upholding high standards of behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Has experience teaching English at secondary level
✔ Can teach across KS3 and KS4 confidently
✔ Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
✔ Has a passion for raising attainment and student outcomes
✔ Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
