Key Responsibilities:
* Clean and maintain all public areas, toilets, meeting/function rooms, and other assigned spaces to the standards outlined in the Housekeeping SOP.
* Prioritize cleaning duties based on daily function sheets and guest requirements.
* Supervise and allocate tasks to public area cleaners, linen porters, and work experience students.
* Monitor and inspect the cleanliness and service standards of guest rooms and public areas, taking corrective action as needed.
* Report discrepancies, malfunctions, or maintenance issues to the Housekeeper or Maintenance Department promptly.
* Ensure all allocated rooms and public areas are cleaned and serviced to the required standard.
* Act as a self-checker, maintaining consistently high standards without regular supervision.
* Pay particular attention to the needs of VIP guests and premium room requirements.
* Assist with guest room servicing as needed, maintaining a "hands-on" approach during busy periods.
* Ensure the security of guest property and report any suspicious activity immediately.
* Handle and store lost property in accordance with hotel policy.
* Adhere to all health and safety, hygiene, fire, and security regulations.
* Use cleaning materials safely and economically as directed by the Housekeeper.
* Keep all housekeeping storerooms and cupboards clean, organized, and secure, minimizing waste and damage.
* Communicate guest complaints, non-arrivals, or rooms not requiring service to the Housekeeper or relevant departments.
* Promptly hand over ready rooms to Reception for guest check-in.
* Attend all required training sessions and staff meetings.
* Uphold the company's image through a high standard of personal appearance and professional behavior.
* Support new team members through guidance and on-the-job training as required.
