Senior Water Hygiene Engineer Annual Salary: £34,000 - £37,500 Location: Salisbury Job Type: Full-timeWe are seeking an experienced and reliable Senior Water Hygiene Engineer to join our Clients skilled team. This role involves a mix of planned preventative maintenance, remedial works, and risk assessments. The successful candidate will be confident working independently and leading by example in the field. Day-to-day of the role: Conducting Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 parts 2 and 3. Disinfection of cold-water storage tanks and associated systems. Calorifier inspections and descaling. TMV servicing and replacements. Water sampling and flushing regimes. Cleaning and chlorination of water systems. Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices. Completing accurate and timely reports and paperwork.Required Skills & Qualifications: City & Guilds qualifications in Legionella risk assessment. Full UK driving licence. Excellent understanding of Legionella control and compliance. L8 Awareness & Legionella Risk Assessment experience essential. Competent with technical procedures, safe systems of work, and method statements. Willingness to obtain MOD security clearance. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Desirable: Confined Space, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, and Manual Handling training. Experience working on MOD, NHS, or high-security sites is advantageous.
