Key Responsibilities
* Perform QC testing in the laboratory, including calibrations and maintenance, using SEM, and providing SPC analysis via the compilation of data and interpretation of results.
* Oversee product development and testing procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
* Reviewing specifications for products or processes and Investigate materials assessed as out of specification.
* Work with the Technical Team on continuous improvement of material and process analysis
* Establish requirements for raw materials and ensure compliance
* Work with the Production Team to collate process parameters and prepare formal process and analytical reports as requested.
* Provide support for commercial and technical projects in line with business strategy
* Experience of working within an ISO EN 9001, 14001, environment
Criteria:
* Graduate in materials science or other relevant subject area
* Experience of working in a manufacturing and research and development environment
* Experience of working with graphene an advantage
* Familiar with problem solving tools, root cause analysis, and able to analyse outcomes and trends
* Advanced IT skills
* Internal and external Customer focus with right first-time approach.
* Open minded and flexible with a positive work attitude. Self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking and being reactive to business needs
