Service Coordinator
Location: Hethel, Norfolk (Fully Office-Based)
What you will do
We are currently seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join our Fire Suppression team based in our Hethel, Norfolk office. This is a fully office-based position.
As a Service Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in coordinating and scheduling service operations across the business. How you will do it
• Take ownership of service scheduling using the company’s service scheduler
• Liaise proactively with Contracts, Small Works Teams, and Project Managers to ensure smooth coordination
• Confirm bookings with clients and assign the appropriate engineering resource to complete services
• Issue necessary documentation in a timely manner to acquire site permits
• Prepare and issue RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) as required
• Respond promptly to all service enquiries from Xcell Misting customers
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement the most effective solutions for clients
What we are looking for
We’re looking for someone with proven experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, ideally with a background in engineering or technical services. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate:
• Experience in a customer-focused service coordination role
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Confidence in managing and coordinating multiple calendars
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A first-class telephone manner and strong customer orientation
• Self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure.
• Confidence to build positive relationships and influence others.
• Experience in a dynamic engineering or technical service environment is a strong advantage.
