Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) to join our clients busy and supportive Property team. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of residential and commercial conveyancing matters, acting for individuals and businesses alike. They will be proactive and approachable, with the ability to manage their own caseload while working collaboratively within the wider team. The role offers extensive training opportunities, with strong encouragement and support for career progression and professional development.
Responsibilities
* Advising clients on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Handling re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and equity release matters
* Managing lease extensions, shared ownership arrangements, and tenancy agreements
* Liaising with estate agents, brokers, and clients to ensure seamless transactions
* Providing clear and tailored legal advice to a diverse client base, including first-time buyers, families, and investors
* Participating in departmental and firm-wide training sessions
* Supporting the training and development of junior colleagues
Candidate Profile
* Solid experience in residential and commercial property work
* Proven ability to take responsibility and manage files independently
* Strong technical skills with a practical and innovative approach
* Excellent client care and case management skills
* Clear and confident communication, both written and oral
* Commercial awareness and sound financial management
* Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a commitment to service delivery
* Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
