Engineering Manager – Support Engineering (Training Services)
Location:
Barrow-in-Furness, Filton, Frimley, Portsmouth or Glasow (Scotstoun). Hybrid and flexible working arrangements available.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading teams that analyse the Engineering training needs of the RN crew and the BAES production and test & commissioning delivery teams.
* Shaping the culture of the team and ensuring they are fully supported, engaged and performing to high standard.
* Enabling the team to perform, creating the dynamics for effective team performance, including flow of communications, mentoring, influencing organisational design & ways of working.
* Supporting the training requirements derivation & training needs analysis on programmes of work, including current and future Submarines programmes.
* Business continuity management, including establishing training needs within the team.
* People manager responsibilities, from line management to performance development, progression & succession planning.
Essential
* Experience in delivering training services within the Defence Industry and other Industries.
* DSAT Qualification held.
* Demonstrable familiarity of Project Management and delivery of training needs analysis capability in a similar background/industry.
* Leadership Experience.
* Leading Training Services Teams.
Desirable
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) or other relevant professional affiliation.
