Role Overview: Electrician
This role will suit a qualified Electrician with strong technical experience delivering electrical works on-site across both commercial and domestic environments. You will carry out a variety of reactive maintenance, repair, and installation works, primarily within public sector buildings such as schools, universities, MOD sites, factories, and housing void rewires.
The position is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week, typically 8am-4pm. Some flexibility is required to meet client and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
4. Undertake electrical repairs, maintenance, and installation works as instructed
5. Requisition appropriate materials, plant, and machinery for each job
6. Set out and deliver works in line with programmes and drawings where required
7. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, distribution equipment, lighting, and control systems
8. Carry out installation, testing, inspection, and certification on domestic and commercial installations
9. Perform fire equipment testing including panels, sounders, sensors, and emergency lighting
Key Requirements
10. NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation
11. ECS Health & Safety Test
12. JIB Gold Card
13. Level 3 Inspection, Testing & Certification (C&G 2391)
14. IOSH / SMSTS / SSSTS or equivalent
15. IPAF and PASMA
16. Full UK Driving Licence

17. Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
18. 37.5 hours per week
19. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
(includes 3 compulsory days over Christmas)
