Electrical CAD Designer - Defence Engineering
We're looking for an experienced Electrical CAD Designer to join a growing hardware engineering team working on a high-profile maritime platform management project. What You'll Do:
* Create and review electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical (or similar tools)
* Support the development and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs)
* Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to ensure design integrity
* Develop and manage component libraries for schematic design
* Maintain configuration control and documentation throughout the project life cycle
* Raise and implement Change Notes (CNs) as required
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in an Electrical CAD design role
* Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent CAD software
* Familiarity with defence-related electrical standards
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
