Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Canine Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the care, training, and handling of dogs used in various security operations. This role requires a keen eye for surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring the safety and security of premises while working alongside trained canine partners.
Responsibilities
* Handle and train dogs for various tasks related to security and surveillance.
* Conduct regular inspections of premises using CCTV systems to monitor for suspicious activities.
* Implement loss prevention strategies to deter theft and ensure safety.
* Maintain a high level of physical fitness to effectively manage canine partners during patrols.
* Provide first aid to dogs when necessary and ensure their overall well-being.
* Collaborate with team members to develop effective security protocols.
* Document incidents and maintain accurate records of training sessions and canine behaviour.
Requirements
* Proven experience in canine handling or a related field is preferred.
* Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
* Familiarity with CCTV systems and their operation.
* Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
