Overview
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic pharmacist with existing hospital pharmacy experience of setting up clinical trials in a hospital pharmacy setting. You will work across all clinical specialities, including oncology, to support early phase research as part of a high‑profile dedicated Pharmacy Clinical Trials Team.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the implementation of new clinical trials within the Trust across all clinical specialities. This includes undertaking feasibility assessments, cost analysis and risk assessments, ensuring trials meet Trust policies and procedures, and creating and quality‑assuring trial documents where necessary.
You will provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service, working as an expert practitioner, offering advice and consultancy to patients, healthcare professionals and other agencies on pharmaceutical aspects of patient care.
You will deliver a cost‑effective clinical pharmacy service that is patient‑ and medicine‑oriented through effective supply, prescription monitoring and prescribing, ensuring safe, effective and timely drug therapy. Support on all pharmaceutical care issues at ward level across all specialties is also required.

Qualifications
Applicants must provide an immunisation and vaccination report from their current UK occupational health provider or UK GP. Relevant hospital pharmacy experience and the ability to work across all clinical specialities are essential.
