Location: Stockton and surrounding areas Contract: Flexible (part-time, sessional, or full-time hours available) Pay: Competitive hourly rates (£25–£35 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications) About the Role: We are looking for a committed tutor to provide tailored 1:1 or small group tuition to Looked After Children across Stockton. The role involves helping students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full academic potential, both in and out of mainstream education. Subjects required include: English Maths Science (Other subjects are also welcome.) Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, personalised tuition sessions (in-person or online) Work closely with Virtual Schools and carers to support progress Adapt learning strategies to meet each child’s unique needs Monitor and report on student progress regularly Requirements: Experience working with Looked After Children or vulnerable learners (preferred) Teaching qualification or strong tutoring background Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Excellent communication and organisation skills Empathetic, patient, and flexible approach Why Join Us?
