Assistant / Preconstruction Manager – Northamptonshire (Remote options)

My client is a leading building contractor with a busy, fast‑growing workload. Due to organic growth, this employer is looking to strengthen their team further with the appointment of an Assistant Preconstruction Manager. Previous experience on Industrial sector projects is ideal but not essential.
Requirements
To be considered for this Assistant Preconstruction Manager role you must meet the following criteria:
* Knowledge of the Building Sector.
* Previous employment as a Design Coordinator, D&B Coordinator, D&B Manager, Design Manager, Bid Manager, Preconstruction Manager, Assistant Design Manager, Architect, Architectural Technician, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Design Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineer or similar.
* Previous experience on building sector projects.
* Consideration for candidates who have worked on other general build construction projects.
* Previous Main Contractor employment is ideal but not essential; experience with sub‑contractors (e.g., earthworks) or design consultancies is also acceptable.
* High level of communication skills.
* Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc.).
Location
Role will be predominantly office based with 1–2 days remote working.
