We are delighted to be working with a beautiful village primary school in Halstead that is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join their welcoming team from September.
This is a long-term position, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person. The school is keen to find someone who would love to become part of the school family and play a long‑term role in the life of the school.
About the Role:
* Teaching a lovely Year 2 class
* Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons
* Creating a warm, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
* Working closely with a friendly and supportive staff team
* Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
The School Is Looking For Someone Who:
* Holds QTS
* Has experience in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience welcomed)
* Is kind, enthusiastic, and child‑centred
* Enjoys being part of a close‑knit school community
* Is open to a long-term role with the potential to go permanent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
