Our client based in Hampshire, are looking for a Service Charge Officer on a permanent basis to start as soon as possible! The role is a full-time hybrid position, 2-3 days onsite with Tuesday and Wednesday as core days. The salary on offer is up to £30,000 negotiable dependent experience. Our client is looking for skilled individuals with experience managing and administering the service charge process of rental, ownership and leasehold customers. Duties will include (but are not limited to): * Managing and administering the accurate calculation, setting and issue of all service charges - rental, shared ownership and leasehold/freehold properties over both calendar and financial years * Apportioning costs correctly to individual customers in accordance with lease and tenancy agreements * Review, monitor and control actual spend against budgetReconcile charges back to property records, ensuring that all data sent externally matches internal records * Review new development service charges, reporting and analysis back to the relevant team * Creating and maintaining property records within the property database, being the first point of contact for any queries regarding their upkeep * Offering frontline response to residents in matters relating to rent enquiries and service charges, including attending residents’ meetings where required * Maintaining information relating to sinking fund accounts including posting en...
