Proactive Personnel ltd have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our client based in the Stoke on Trent area.
Ideally you will have experience in a technical sales role, be able to complete market research and independently focus your sales on developing markets / opportunities and have a solid understanding of digital sales platforms.
1. Develop a sales strategy to achieve organisational sales goals and revenues
2. Set individual sales targets with sales team
3. Delegate responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel
4. Co-ordinate sales action plans for individual sales people
5. Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team
6. Ensure sales team have the necessary resources to achieve optimum performance
7. Monitor the achievement of sales objectives by the sales team
8. Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives
9. Evaluate performance of sales staff
10. Pprovide feedback, support and coaching to the sales team
11. Plan and direct sales team training
12. Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
13. Develop online sales platforms
14. Co-ordinate and monitor online sales activity
15. Investigate lost sales and customer accounts
16. Track, collate and interpret sales figures
17. Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue
18. Generate timely sales reports
19. Develop pricing schedules and rates
20. Formulate sales policies and procedure
21. Help prepare budgets
