About the Role
To be employed in this role, you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24/7, offering a variety of shift patterns. Weekend work is required, and flexibility with your schedule may be needed. In-store Pharmacies are popular, and customers expect friendly, confident service, especially when discussing personal health issues. You will assemble and process prescriptions accurately, promote pharmacy services like Prescription Collection and Medicines Use Reviews, and support the Pharmacist with patient services such as blood pressure checks and smoking cessation schemes. You will learn and adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures to meet customer expectations. Additionally, you will collect prescriptions from doctors on behalf of customers for store pickup. We will support your development through an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, followed by training as a Dispensing Assistant to advance your pharmacy career.
