These are 8 hour shifts with 3 different shift patterns, earliest start is 6.45am and latest start is 11.30am. Ideally we would like to hear from candidates who are available to work both Saturday and Sunday but would welcome conversations about flexible availability.
The Spa at Armathwaite Hall Hotel is an Award-Winning Spa set within 400-acres of countryside near Keswick in the Lake District National Park.
As a Spa Receptionist you will work within our strong and supportive team ensuring the delivery of the highest level of customer care to our guests. As you will often be the first and last person that guests meet, it is vital that you ensure a warm, welcoming experience and thrive on delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will have a high attention to detail, be organised, deliver excellent IT, communication and administration services. You will be responsible for reservations of guest appointments.
Duties
* Greet visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression
* Answer incoming calls promptly using proper phone etiquette
* Manage appointment scheduling, reservations and maintain accurate records
* Assist clients with enquiries, providing information about services offered
* Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance client experience
* Handle basic administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
* Ensure high presentation standards in Reception and guest welcome area
* Support organisational needs through effective time management and prioritisation of tasks
* Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during weekend shifts

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Organised with excellent time management abilities
* Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
* Ability to upsell products or services tactfully to maximise client satisfaction and business growth
* Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
