Trust Payments has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their team.
Location: United Kingdom (Open to all our offices)

How will you make an impact in this role?
The Role:
Trust Payments is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing sales function. The role can be based at any of our UK offices, or remotely.
This role is centered around new business, with a particular focus on profitability from the leads fed in via our marketing channels, referral partners, or our sales development executives.
The individual would be responsible for converting incoming enquiries and leads into sales. This customer-facing role focuses on understanding prospect needs, demonstrating the value of our payment solutions, and guiding potential clients through the sales process to successful conversion.
What We Expect of You, Day To Day:
* Respond promptly within agreed SLAs to all inbound enquiries received via the channels mentioned
* Apply a consultative sales approach to understand the prospects' needs
* Identify key challenges for merchants and partners, then solve these problems by applying the correct range of products and services, while maintaining profitability in line with agreed pricing guidelines
* Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with full support available from Line Manager, Department Director and Pricing Manager should sign-off be required
* Meet or exceed KPIs
* Regularly update our CRM system for the purpose of accurate reporting, forecasting and pipeline management
* Represent our business at trade events where required
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in inbound customer-facing environment, preferably in payments, with past exposure to online and in-person payment solutions
* Results-focused and motivated to hit or exceed targets, demonstrating persistence
* Enjoys problem solving. Quick ability to map key products and services to a client's needs
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal, including proficient use of questions to help support our prospective customers more efficiently
* Open to learning and feedback, with a view to continuous improvement to help achieve targets and beyond
* Professional approach at all times, when communicating both internally and externally
