Role Overview
We are seeking a male Teaching Assistant to support our students with cerebral palsy, assisting with their intimate and physical care needs, as well as supporting their educational development.
This role involves moving, handling, and providing intimate care to students, with all relevant training provided. Experience is advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate will help students learn, promote independence, and support the implementation of their Medical Plan and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with students in an educational setting or transferable skills from a care setting.
* Good educational background to support classroom activities.
* A genuine occupational requirement for a male worker applies under the Equality Act 2010 due to privacy and decency considerations.
