Clark Wood are delighted to be partnering with a leading firm of accountants in Ely who are actively looking for a Personal Tax Senior to join them.
This role is perfect for an experienced professional with a strong background in tax compliance, particularly for personal tax clients, including those with trust experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage compliance issues for the region, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Work closely with Partners on:
Capital Gains Tax advice.
CGT on UK property returns.
Inheritance Tax matters.
Trusts, including registration services and IHT aspects.
Statutory Residence Test reviews and tax returns for non-resident individuals.
Ideal Candidate:
Qualifications: Recognised taxation qualification (ATT or QBE); aspiring towards CTA qualification is a plus.
Experience: Relevant experience in tax compliance, particularly with trusts.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to clients.
Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
