From first fix to final finishes, your craftsmanship will help maintain and improve essential infrastructure across the county. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix joinery across commercial sites Supporting emergency repairs, planned maintenance, and capital projects Operating trade-specific tools and constructing access platforms Collaborating with supervisors, contractors, and internal teams Assisting with planning, risk assessments, and digital reporting Mentoring apprentices and contributing to team development What We’re Looking For NVQ Level 3 in Joinery (or equivalent time-served experience) CSCS Gold Card Full UK Driving Licence Experience in both 1st and 2nd fix joinery Understanding of Health & Safety practices Experience across multiple trades in property maintenance Flexibility to travel and participate in on-call rota Enhanced DBS check (Children’s Barred List) Desirable (or willingness to train): PASMA certification Manual Handling, Safe Dig, Abrasive Wheels, Banksman training Nail Gun Awareness, Face Fit, Asbestos Awareness Working at Height certification Emergency First Aid training Read the full job description here Why Join Us?
