As a Healthy Living Champion, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere at Simon’s Café, supporting its daily operations and ensuring an inclusive environment for both the public and service users. You’ll assist with volunteer rotas, group activities, stock monitoring, food presentation, cash transactions, and basic admin tasks. Additionally, you’ll help promote wellbeing through the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ sessions and contribute to a collaborative team environment while embracing learning opportunities.

Actual Salary £20,061.60 per year
* Please note full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
About The Role
As a Healthy Living Champion, you’ll play a key part in creating a warm, supportive environment in our community café. You will
* Support the day-to-day operations of Simon’s Café
* Create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for the public and service users
* Help coordinate volunteer rotas and café activities
* Facilitate or support ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ group sessions
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
* Monitor stock, support ordering, and manage food and drink presentation
* Handle cash transactions and support with basic admin tasks
* Promote teamwork and take part in learning and development opportunities
About You
We’re looking for someone friendly, reliable, and passionate about community wellbeing. Ideally, you will have
* Experience in a café, hospitality, or customer service environment
* A warm and approachable attitude, with strong people skills
* Confidence working in a team and supporting others
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Basic food safety knowledge and experience handling food and drink
* NVQ Level 1 in hospitality & catering (or willingness to work towards it)
* A genuine passion for creating a positive experience for others
