Due to continuous growth, they are now seeking an experienced Site Accountant to strengthen the finance function at their offices in Deeside, North Wales. This role involves driving improvements in costing and reporting on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.
This opportunity is ideal for a proactive Management Accountant who enjoys working with operations teams to embed robust processes and provide clear, data-driven insights for decision-making.

Job Duties
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and site financial reports
* Lead weekly job-costing and monitor key performance metrics
* Review job-costing data to ensure accuracy and investigate variances
* Explain variances to management and drive corrective actions
* Collaborate with the stores team on stock management and reporting
* Manage the fixed-asset register, support investment cases, and conduct physical audits
* Support month-end/year-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audits
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure internal control compliance
* Champion process improvements across responsibilities

Ideal Experience
* Experience as a cost, factory, or management accountant in manufacturing
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with strong cost-accounting skills
* Ability to analyze variances, explain performance drivers, and influence stakeholders
* Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and inventory control
* Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and confidence to drive change independently
