Kitchen Porter Salary: £13.68 including holiday pay per hour Location: Lyndhurst, Hampshire Job Type: Casual contract About the Role The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our kitchen operations. They are responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment and assisting the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils Assisting with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and preparing salads Stocking and rotating supplies in the kitchen Managing waste and recycling including keeping waste storage areas clean and tidy.
