Job Title: Locum Pharmacist Banding : 7 /8a Location : Brighton Start: January 2025 Duration : Until End March 2025 Rate : £ 2 8 - £ 3 7 Working hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 We are looking for a skilled and experienced Locum Pharmacist to join our team in Brighton. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential pharmaceutical care to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Surgical Assessment Unit, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. What will your responsibilities be : In this role, you will be responsible for managing the dispensing of medications, conducting medication reviews, and providing clinical advice to healthcare professionals and patients. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, participate in ward rounds, and contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines. You will oversee the safe storage and handling of pharmaceuticals, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide training and support to junior staff. Your caseload will primarily involve ward duties with a focus on the Surgical Assessment Unit. Qualifications and Experiences: Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) Recent acute hospital experience, particularly in a surgical setting Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmacotherapy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Experience in conducting medication reviews and providing clinical advice Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in pharmacy Why work with Pulse?
