An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Youth Worker to join our Youth Team in the Community Development area at WCHG. The Youth Worker will deliver youth work programs across various centre-based and community settings, focusing on youth-led projects and informal educational activities to meet the needs of young people aged 8 to 19 years, or up to 25 with a disability.
The successful candidate will hold an NVQ or equivalent in youth and community work, with experience in developing, promoting, organising, and delivering personal, social, and educational programs for young people. Candidates should also be able to communicate effectively, develop strong working relationships, work collaboratively in a team, and be flexible to ensure excellent service delivery.
This fixed-term role lasts until 31st March 2026, offering 10 hours per week, including evenings and occasional weekends.
