Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for our client based in Burton on Trent for an experienced Quality Engineer.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience in the automotive industry – in particular experience in trim covers (with basic sewing).
This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
You will be required to work an AM / PM rotation, there may also be the potential of a day shift.
Duties include:
1. Co-ordinating with site to resolve any quality issues
2. Participate in meetings to provide updates and gather feedback.
3. Provide details of quantities checked / rejected / overview of issues
4. Compiling detailed reports – including issues detected.
5. Ensuring your team of 4 inspectors completes the duties to a high standard.
6. Updating instructions and SOP’s when required.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential for this position.
You must be an effective communicator and be comfortable negotiating.
