Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an established organisation based in Worthing to recruit an Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will receive a salary of up to £40,000 along with other attractive benefits including study support!
The organisation is happy to provide training to the right candidate. Someone who is studying AAT or AAT qualified would be a good fit.
Primary responsibilities;
* Preparation of management accounts
* Bookkeeping for a varied client portfolio
* Preparation of statutory year-end accounts
* CIS returns
* Assisting with VAT returns and general accounting duties
* Liaising with clients and supporting them with accounting software queries
* Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with deadlines
Key experience and attributes;
* Experience preparing management accounts is essential
* Previous bookkeeping experience
* Experience with accounting software including: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, CCH
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach
* Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
