Role
My client is a regional main contractor specialising in multi-million new build projects across the health and education sectors. They are currently seeking a freelance Design Manager for a new build £25m commercial scheme in Coventry.
The successful design manager will have 5 years main contractor experience and project experience up to £30m in value.
Responsibilities
* Attending and contributing to design meetings
* Liaising with clients, architects and external consultants
* Managing site audits and creating proactive risk assessments
* Ensuring sub-contractor compliance with client specifications
* Ensuring project completion in line with programme
* Value engineering / resolving technical and design issues
Qualifications & Requirements
* Freelance Design Manager role for a new build £25m commercial scheme in Coventry
* 5 years of main contractor experience
* Experience on projects up to £30m in value
