Nigel Wright Tech are delighted to be working with an established software company in their search for a SQL Developer
The Role
In this role you will undertake a variety of tasks, including data loading and ETL, working with complex data structures, writing queries/stored procedures, optimising queries and tables, producing reports and creating workflows. Other responsibilities include:
* Standard SQL tasks such as table design, query creation, etc
* Ensuring the accuracy, integrity and security of data
* Creating ETL workflows to process large datasets, in a variety of formats
* Troubleshooting database performance issues using tools such as Redgate SQL Monitor, SSMS query store
* Designing and delivering reports on big datasets
The Requirements
Key Requirements include:
* Experience of designing and implementing solutions which involve big datasets
* Strong SQL/T-SQL experience
* Ability to analyse and understand complex data structures
* Experience in writing and troubleshooting complex queries, stored procedures, functions, etc
* Experience with ETL
* Cloud database technologies or Python skills would be beneficial
