In this role of Primary TA, you will provide crucial support to the classroom teacher, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where all students can thrive. Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant: Support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities. Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils, especially those with additional needs. Assist in the preparation and organisation of teaching materials. Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Support students with their personal, social, and emotional development. Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children in a primary school setting is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students’ learning. A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
